Can I use Weava for free?
You absolutely can! Weava is completely free to use. You can use it on unlimited devices and create unlimited highlights and notes in all plans.
Do you have monthly and yearly billing options?
Yes! We offer both monthly and yearly billing options. The yearly billing option is always cheaper (usually ~20% discount).
Can I collaborate with my friends and colleagues?
Yes, you can. Collaboration is a premium feature that enables you to share and work in Weava folders together. You will also be able to access and interact with your friend/colleagues highlights directly on the respective PDFs and websites, as well as on your Weava dashboard.

Do I have to stay on the premium plan to keep all my sub-folders accessible?
No. Don’t worry, we won’t charge you for hosting your sub-folders. All your sub-folders remain accessible even if your subscription ends or you’ve switched to the Free plan. But on Free plan you can’t create any new sub folders.
How is the payment being processed?
We handle billing via Stripe. We do not handle your credit card information directly. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe. Can I pay with Paypal?
Currently you can’t pay via Paypal, though we are considering including this in the future. There is also a feature request for this in our feature request portal which you can vote on if you are eager to see us offer this option. You can see it here.
What happens if I cancel my paid plan?
When you cancel your plan, you will currently revert back to free plan immediately. In the future, we plan to implement improvements so that you remain on the premium plan until the end of your billing cycle, at which time the plan will be cancelled. Should you accidentally cancelled your plan prematurely you can contact our support for help.
Do you offer refunds?
14-day money-back guarantee. To do this, simply contact us via our support system – and please explicitly state that you would like a refund.
Do you have a discount for students and educators?
We offer an 85% discount on premium plans for students and educators. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org from your student/faculty email address.
What happens if my payment fails? E.g. an expired credit card.
Your account email will be notified after each failed payment. Payments may be retried up to 4 times within the next week. After this, if the payment did not succeed, you will be downgraded to the Free plan.
